Birth Doula Support - $650*
- 24/7 phone & email support, starting at point of hire

Postpartum Doula Support - $25 / hour
It is no surprise that having a baby is the most magical, and exhausting experience most couples and individuals go through. A postpartum doula supports the parent(s), while allowing them to rest and re-cooperate after child birth.
Services include:
- Watch, feed, and comfort baby while parents rest, run errands, etc.
- Tidy home
- Prepare meals
- Overnight support - wake up with baby to allow parents to get a good nights sleep

Services explained
​
Prenatal visit: a home visit where I meet with the expecting parent(s), go over birth plan, expectations for birth, pain relief methods, and logistics of labor and birth. This visit is usually a week out after hiring me, unless the estimated due date is closer.

Postpartum visit: the first postpartum visit is 3-4 days after a problem-free birth, the second meeting is about two weeks after birth. At these visits, we go over how the birth went, what you would have changed, and how bonding with the new baby is going. Breastfeeding support is also offered at these meetings, along with referrals to local groups.
As a Doula, I Do Not:
Perform any clinical tasks
As a doula, I am not able to perform cervical exams, check vitals, interpret results or tell you what something means.
Make decisions for you
I am able to help you think through decisions, give you resources, and help you feel confident in your decision.
Speak to the staff on your behalf

While working together, I hope to guide you and encourage confidence in your decisions during the birthing process, but do not relay any messages to staff.
Project any of my own beliefs onto your experience

This is your birth! I want nothing more than for you to make it your own and unique to you. I certainly have my own beliefs, but those are my beliefs, and they will not be projected onto you.
*Although prices are laid out above, I am happy to work with a family that is on a tight budget, or someone who is not able to afford a doula.
